Seeking the challenge

Currently, I'm VP Engineering at Scalable Capital. As the first employee of Scalable, I was a major contributor and part of the leading team for the initial B2C wealth management offering in Germany and the UK, the first B2B project with ING Germany, the B2B project with Openbank and the integration of Raisins' savings product. We built a new Neo-Broker from the ground up and then successfully grew the teams working on the product. My passion is to foster a great engineering culture and help others grow.

Spring Auto REST Docs (Java)
The aim of this extension to Spring REST Docs is to help you to write even less — both code and documentation. Implemented together with my co-worker Juraj Misur.

Heuristics for the Smallest Grammar Problem (Go)
This project provides a hybrid of a max-min ant system and a genetic algorithm that in combination with a novel local search outperforms the state of the art on all files of the Canterbury corpus, a standard benchmark suite. Implemented during my Master's thesis (winter 2012/13).

OpenStreetMap Routing (Go)
A fast and optimal routing service for cars, bikes, and pedestrians that is based on OpenStreetMap data and the paper "Customizable Route Planning". Implemented during a student project in a team of three (summer 2012).

Closure Stylesheets (Java)
Closure Stylesheets is an extension to CSS that is used at Google. Maintained the project during my internship at Google (summer 2011).

FpDebug (C)
A dynamic program analysis that aids finding floating-point accuracy problems. Implemented as a Valgrind tool during my Bachelor's thesis (winter 2010/11).
